What Is A Dance Cleanup?
Whether you are doing a competition, performance, college audition, or pre-professional dance audition preparatory; a dance cleanup is when you perfect your routine to be Show Ready. Once the routine is memorized, then it is time to start cleaning it up. Cleanup can happen even if you have already been performing or are mid-season competing with it.
Why Get A Dance Cleanup?
You can have the best choreography, but to Stand Out, the performance needs to be cleaned up! The details matter and Dawn will help finetune those details. Whether you are preparing for an important audition or you and/or your team are competing or just preparing for a performance, Dawn will provide detailed feedback to make your dance performance Stand Out. In addition, when judges are providing their feedback during a competition, it is well-known that the feedback doesn't always include all the details they would like to share due to the limited timeframe, so Dawn is offering these special cleanup options to give you a detailed Judge's perspective before or during your season. These cleanup options are available to both, individuals and studios.

As a Professional Competitive Dance Judge herself, Dawn will point out all the specifics to improve your performance - like positions, inconsistencies, movements, timing, technicalities, choreography, formations, etc. with clear recommendations that give you a path to a successful Stand Out dance performance. Dawn's primary focus is to always provide quality feedback at fair prices to help all ages and all skill levels Stand Out while continuing to grow and improve.
What Are My Options?
Option 1
SUBMIT A SOLO-TRIO VIDEO
3 or Less Dancers
$159 $79
Submit a video up to 3 minutes in length of your solo, duo, or trio dance performance. The video can be anything from a costume performance to performing in your basement. Simply upload your video with a full-out rehearsal or performance. The video should be high quality and must include everyone who is in the routine to receive the most effective feedback. Dawn will provide recorded audio notes, pointing out all the specifics for you to apply the information to improve your performance. Turnaround time is 5-7 business days. You do NOT need a PayPal account to order, simply process your payment as a guest.
Option 2
SUBMIT A TEAM VIDEO
4 or More Dancers
$269 $129
Submit a video up to 3 minutes in length of your team dance performance with 4 or more dancers. The video can be anything from a costume performance to performing in your basement. Simply upload your video of your team doing a full-out rehearsal or performance. The video should be high quality and must include everyone who is in the routine to receive the most effective feedback. Dawn will provide recorded audio notes, pointing out all the specifics for you to apply the information to improve your performance. Turnaround time is 5-7 business days. You do NOT need a PayPal account to order, simply process your payment as a guest.

Custom Pricing
Dawn Comes To You! Each day up to 5 hours. Scheduling is done in hourly increments and is based on availability. This is a very hands on in-person cleanup. Available to All ages and All skill levels. She can clean up a solo, a team, and/or several routines. Monthly options are available. Pricing varies based on the location, date(s), and time(s). Please provide your location details, the specific dates & hours needed each day, and any flexibility with dates/times to receive your custom pricing quote. Travel and accommodations will be calculated into your quote. Payment is due in full to reserve your in-person cleanup. Spaces are limited, so be sure to book in advance.
If you would like to submit longer routines, rush orders, or multiple routines, please Contact Dawn for custom pricing. Bulk discounts for 3 or more submissions are available to both, individuals and studios. About Dawn
Dawn (Morris) Hostetler began her dance profession at New Tradition’s Dance Company in Mansfield, Ohio where she trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Pom, and Kick styles while on their competitive dance team. She earned many State & National Championship Titles, served as the team Captain, and performed in a Florida Citrus Bowl halftime show.
Dawn collegiately competed while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University. She served as a team Member and team Captain of the Nationally Ranked Buckeye Dance Force, and competed at College Nationals with Universal Dance Association on ESPN.
For the past 25 years, Dawn has choreographed for dance teams and solo dancers throughout the United States for various State, Regional, and National Championships. She has also composed pieces for OSU basketball halftime shows, Showcase Camps & Productions, United Spirit Association, San Diego State University Dance Team, Boston University Cheer Squad, Morehead State University Dance Team, and the Florida Citrus Bowl halftime show.
Dawn has a strong background in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Cheerleading, complemented by studies in Ballet and Lyrical. She has attended various workshops and classes in Los Angeles, San Diego, and New York City. She has also attended many DanceLife Teacher Conventions to keep up with the newest dance trends. In addition, Dawn helped build a local dance company in Westerville, Ohio while serving as their co-director for 14 years. She continues to share her expertise as an adjudicator for various dance competitions, including Showcase America Unlimited and AmeriDance. She is currently serving on the Executive Board as the Secretary for Showcase America Unlimited.
She and her husband, Brandon, love spending time with their daughters – Summer and Star! Dawn has a strong passion for teaching and leading children in dance as well as guiding them through life’s journeys.
